The Energy Professionals Association (TEPA) is a not-for-profit organization of professionals dedicated to advancing competitive energy markets across the country. TEPA is a membership-based association that provides professional development, advocacy, certification program, and access to a network of respected industry leaders.

Energy Guidance Group Teams with Revenue Source Group

Energy Guidance Group, LLC and Revenue Source Group, Inc., agree to team up. EGG will provide retail electricity and natural gas procurement services to RSG’s clients. Mark Burlingame will act as EGG’s primary advisor. Burlingame’s 30 plus years of energy and utility industry experience includes over 25 years in competitive energy markets in multiple US states, Canada, and the UK. 

For over 30 years, RSG has provided utility audit services improving client bottom lines through refunds of past overpayments and generating future savings for years to come. RSG reduces operational costs of water/sewer, gas, electricity, telecommunications, waste/recycling and property taxes.

Mark Burlingame Quoted in S&P Global Market Intelligence: "Texas electricity retailer defaults, prompting switch of 9,800 customers"

When asked to comment on a Texas REP’s default, Burlingame said, “‘It will not be a serious problem, since most well-established REPs are well hedged,’ Burlingame said in an email May 31, referring to retail electricity providers. ‘The risk of price spikes due to ERCOT’s lower-than-usual reserve margin should not be a surprise to any market participants. I’d be surprised if we see more than three or four more defaults.'” – (read more)

Mark Burlingame quoted in Platts: "Final CPP Impact On ERCOT Reliability, Power Prices Less Than Initial Version: Report"

Asked about the latest report’s projections for price increases, Mark Burlingame, managing director of Dallas-based Energy Guidance Group, said the ERCOT forecast is ‘somewhat conservative. As an example of additional costs, ERCOT analysis indicates it is possible that 329 miles of new transmission lines will need to be constructed to support these new resources,’ Burlingame said. ‘In addition, 11 transformers will be needed. Excluding the transformers, total costs for these system upgrades could cost an additional $615 million.'” – (read more)
